Burlington Stores, Inc. is looking for a dedicated Safety Coordinator to support our East Coast Safety Manager and play a vital role in promoting a safe and compliant work environment across our distribution network. This role is essential to ensuring adherence to state, federal, and OSHA safety regulations while championing the well-being of our team members.

As a key partner in our safety efforts, you will monitor and evaluate safety processes, identifying areas of risk and opportunity across our facilities. You’ll be responsible for tracking and analyzing accident data to help uncover trends and drive proactive safety improvements. In addition, you’ll assist in the delivery of safety training initiatives and programs that reinforce a strong safety culture.

You’ll conduct regular inspections and audits to assess compliance and performance. Working closely with the Safety Manager, you’ll help communicate findings and drive continuous improvement efforts across all levels of the organization. A Day In The Liife:

• Monitor and evaluate safety processes to identify risks and improvement opportunities.
• Track and analyze accident and injury data to identify trends.
• Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and compliance checks.
• Support the Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) safety program by ensuring operator certifications and safe operating practices.
• Participate in safety meetings and help follow up on action items.
• Assist in training efforts, including monthly safety topics and first responder support (CPR, AED, First Aid).
• Maintain accurate records of safety training, inspections, and audit results.

You'll Come With:

• Experience with safety procedures in a distribution or warehouse environment preferred.
• Basic understanding of OSHA regulations and safety best practices preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with solid organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to analyze data and generate reports.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
