Overview

Burlington is seeking a dynamic individual to join our HR team as an HR Administrative Coordinator. In this role, you will make an impact by working to support the Distribution and Supply Chain Human Resources teams. As a key member of this team, you will provide administrative support and oversee various HR programs, special projects, and initiatives. 

 

A Day in the Life:

  • Provide daily administration support for the Distribution and Supply Chain HR teams.  This includes effectively managing calendars for the team, meeting set up and support, reporting, and expense management. 
  • Organize and run reports for HR team – i.e. open job reporting, turnover report and analysis, organizational charts, ad hoc compensation reporting, rosters, etc.
  • Create and update regular business correspondence, presentations, and project plans.  Supports ad hoc projects – researching and organizing information and connecting with leaders and business partners to gather insights and information.
  • Assist with inquiries and provide information to internal clients related to HR policies and procedures.
  • Manage Workday transactions for the team, including inputting and tracking all transactions. 

 

You’ll Come With:

  • 2+ years of Administrative experience supporting multiple leaders or business units.
    • Human Resources or Retail industry experience preferred.
  • Experience handling executive level calendar and travel.
  • Solid foundational computer skills, preferably in MS Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, Visio, and PowerPoint, with the ability to quickly master new systems and software applications.
    • Workday, Concur, Paradox and/or ICIMS experience a plus.
  • A high level of integrity and the demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information in a professional manner.
  • Exceptional time management, prioritization, organizational, and follow-up skills with strong attention to detail.  Prompt in responding to issues with the ability to operate under pressure and to be very flexible at all times, including reprioritizing when necessary.
  • Strong interpersonal/people skills; ability to establish and build partnerships with all levels of management and business partners.
  • Superior communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to create and edit business correspondence.
