The Manager, Special Projects will leverage analytical insights to support Burlington’s supply chain organization through a variety of non-routine projects that are aligned with the organizational goals and drive business outcomes. This multifaceted role will effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams across Burlington to conceptualize, plan, and execute projects successfully and effectively communicate outcomes to stakeholders.

 

A Day In the Life 

  • Partner with teams across the organization to proactively identify opportunities to improve existing supply chain service models or create new models.
  • Analyze data from various sources across the organization to identify patterns, trends, and insights to support informed and holistic decision making.
  • Transform analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations to influence critical business decisions.
  • Communicate project updates and outcomes to key stakeholders across the organization, addressing issues/risks and making adjustments as needed.
  • Additional responsibilities include partnering with Engineering Foundations and Engineering Excellence teams to provide cross-functional project support.

 

You'll Come With:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, engineering, or math-related field is required at the minimum. Master's degree or relevant certifications preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in projects related to cost modeling and business optimization, preferably in the Distribution Center Operations in a National Logistics Network.
  • Strong time management and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity to deliver pragmatic scenario modelling.
  • Proficiency in data gathering and analysis and the ability to use data-driven insights to inform decision-making.
  • Ability to effectively communicate analytical insights to a broad range of stakeholders.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and effectively manage senior collaborator relationships.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% to support project execution and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
