Overview

Burlington is seeking a collaborative, innovative, and analytical professional to join our Talent Acquisition team as a Senior Talent Sourcing Partner! In this role, you will play a critical role in driving strategic talent sourcing efforts of the organization while partnering with recruiters, hiring managers, and business leaders to meet current and future hiring needs. You will have the opportunity to interact closely with executive stakeholders and demonstrates the ability to work effectively in a team environment or independently.

 

If you excel in developing targeted sourcing plans, utilizing a variety of sourcing methods, and continuously improving processes to attract high-quality candidates up to and including VP level searches to enable a culture of talent attraction, than this is the role for you!!

 

A Day in the Life:

  • Strategic Talent Sourcing
    • Use data-driven analysis to propose changes to sourcing strategies, optimize sourcing channels, and enhance overall recruitment outcomes.
    • Partner with Multi-Unit Field team to understand and execute sourcing strategies for their hiring needs. This involves conducting in-depth consultations to grasp the specific requirements and expectations for high-impact positions.
    • Develop tailored sourcing plans that align with the organization’s goals, leveraging advanced sourcing techniques to identify and attract top-tier talent.
    • Recommend and drive improvements that positively impact process, candidates, and internal stakeholders
  • Candidate Assessment
  • Market Insights & Analysis
    • Monitor and analyze competitive intelligence by staying updated on competitors' hiring practices, compensation benchmarks, and employer branding efforts. Use this information to position the organization competitively in the talent market.
    • Perform deep dives into specific industry sectors and regions to understand the availability of specialized talent, potential sourcing challenges, and opportunities for talent acquisition.

  • Reporting & Metrics
    • Act as a role model and resource, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.
    • Develop and conduct comprehensive sourcing training sessions across the enterprise Talent Acquisition team to enhance their skills and capabilities.
    • Share market intelligence across the enterprise Talent Acquisition team.
    • Foster a culture of knowledge sharing to ensure all team members are aware of external factors that could impact recruitment efforts and can proactively address challenges and opportunities.

 

You’ll Come With:

  • 5+ years sourcing experience delivering talent sourcing strategies up to and including VP level searches.
    • Sourcing within the retail industry with a focus on field/multi-unit experience STRONGLY PREFERRED.
  • Deep experience in talent sourcing, inclusive of specialized and niche positions, with the ability to find untapped talent outside traditional means, and engage through a personalized approach.
  • Expertise in crafting complex Boolean search strings to effectively identify and target high-quality candidates across various platforms; Utilize advanced Boolean logic to create precise and efficient search queries that narrow down candidate pools based on specific skills, experiences, and qualifications.
  • Experience creating/maintaining talent pools for current and potential openings.
  • Strong ability to embrace and adapt to changes and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional project management skills with a keen sense of improving process, tools, methodologies, and automation.
  • Talent sourcing certifications preferred (i.e. AIRS®, Sourcing Certifications, SourceCon Academy, etc.)
