Overview

We are looking for an HR professional with a passion for technology and a knack for analytical problem-solving to join Burlington’s HRIS team as an HR Systems Analyst! As an HR Systems Analyst, you will serve as a technical resource by supporting short-term & long-term direction and design requirements.

In this role, you would have the opportunity to analyze and maintain HR processes and make recommendations for improvements, contributing to the specifications, development, and implementation of reporting, processes, and functionality. You would also be responsible for configuring business processes, managing a SOX compliant security framework, and the setting up of condition rules, notifications, and reports. You would primarily support the Applicant Tracking Systems configurations while providing improvements to functionality and analytics supporting our Talent functions.

 

A Day in the Life:

  • Project Execution/Solution Focused
    • Provide solutions to support business initiatives, problem solve technical issues and gaps, and provide enhancements to continuously improve user experience
    • Leverage analytical, and technical skills to identify gaps and opportunities, making data informed recommendations
    • Execute projects, configure and test system functionality, and deliver effective and impactful results
    • Develop and execute test scripts for semi-annual releases and project-based work
  • Technical Support
    • Serve as escalated support for inquiries and system issues through Service Now application, providing transactional resolution for complex errors
  • Functional Area Expertise
    • Design and write reports to drive analytics that support business needs, provide key insights, and enhance the use of HR dashboards
    • Consult and support the recruiting life cycle by configuring business process workflows for job requisitions and job applications, optimizing candidate management, enhancing user experience, maintaining messaging practices,
    • Partner with functional teams to maintain job data; collaborate to adopt feature enhancements; support seasonal and location growth strategies and needs in process and data modifications
  • Consultation
    • Collaborate with Vendors/3rd party consultants and internal IT teams to execute projects and provide solutions to meet specified requirements
    • Interact with multiple levels within the organization, including senior leaders
    • Maintain technical and industry knowledge by actively participating in Vendor Community and other forums; continually increase personal knowledge and maintain professional development through training and research

 

You’ll Come With:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, IT, Business, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of HR experience, including exposure to a large HRIS
  • Preferred experience in system configuration, administration, and testing.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills with attention to detail.
  • Understanding of recruiting processes, job architecture, and data manipulation.
  • Project management proficiency with a process improvement mindset.
  • Excellent time management, discretion with sensitive data, and a customer-focused approach.
