As the the Manager of Visualization and Analytics you will lead a team of Data Visualizers and Analytics Translators and will be responsible for design, development, delivery, and support of interactive advanced data visualizations and standardized reports utilized by multiple business functions. You will be a leader who will work collaboratively with business stakeholders as well as Application and Infrastructure Managers across multiple disciplines to execute a strategy of delivering sustainable, cost-effective business solutions, while setting and maintaining priorities to staff. This position requires excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and customer service skills as well as proven experience managing development and operational activities.

A Day In The Life

• Work with business stakeholders to qualify and quantify demand for visualization reporting solutions while enabling self-service.
• Demonstrated competency to innovate and develop efficient and effective solutions to diverse and complex business problems that meet or exceed expectations.
• Proficient in Power BI Development and Operations: Deep understanding of Power BI functionalities including data modeling, visualization, DAX calculations, capacity management.
• Strong background in structured systems and data analysis
• Performance Optimization: Monitoring Power BI performance, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing optimization strategies.
• Partner to lead the strategic vision and develop plans for optimized allocation of technologies, processes, and resources.
• Delegation of work, scheduling, staffing and performance management of team members to ensure alignment of objectives, behaviors and results consistent with business and IT expectations.

To Be Successful You Should Possess

• 12+ years of Information Technology experience
• 5+ years of experience with PowerBI, Data Warehousing & Business Intelligence domain
• Proficient in Power BI Development and Operations: Deep understanding of Power BI functionalities including data modeling, visualization, DAX calculations, capacity management.
• Strong background in structured systems and data analysis
• Expertise in relational database design (normalized and dimensional)
