Overview

As the IT - Manager of Quality Assurance/Quality Control at Burlington, you will develop and implement a comprehensive Information Technology QA/QC strategy aligned with our goals. You'll establish quality goals, mentor a team of QA/QC professionals (both in-house and third party resources), and drive process improvement to ensure we maintain and enhance our quality standards.

 

 

A Day In The Life...

 

Quality Management Leadership

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive QA/QC strategy aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Establish and communicate quality goals, performance metrics, and benchmarks to the QA/QC team and cross-functional departments.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA/QC professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.

Process Improvement

  • Identify areas for process enhancement and efficiency gains within the QA/QC lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement optimized QA/QC processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Drive the integration of innovative technologies and methodologies to improve QA/QC processes.

Quality Standards and Compliance

  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality control protocols and procedures to ensure consistent adherence to quality standards.
  • Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards relevant to the organization's products/services.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to verify the effectiveness of quality control measures.

Risk Assessment and Mitigation

  • Identify potential risks to product/service quality and work with relevant teams to develop risk mitigation strategies.
  • Lead investigations into quality issues, determine root causes, and collaborate with stakeholders to implement corrective and preventive actions.

 

To Be Successful You Will Possess...

 

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • QA/QC Certified
  • Leadership role in mid/large sized retail organization
  • Knowledge of multiple retail business disciplines
  • Proven ability to drive quality of deliverables
  • Oversight working with 3rd QA/QC teams
  • Ability to operate well in fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Highly developed communication skills, organized and productive
  • Demonstrate knowledge and experience using QA/QC management tools and methodologies
  • Willingness to directly mentor QA/QC analyst through personal and professional development
  • Ability to manage and partner with resources across various business units
