Overview

The Pre-Receive Associate II is a clerical position in a fast paced/time sensitive department. It involves research into POs and ASNs, extreme attention to detail and data input/verification accuracy. The primary activities involve ensuring that all DC inbound shipments are ready to process when arriving at the DC. Must be flexible to changing workload demands.

 

Hours: Monday - Friday 12:00pm - 9pm w/one hour for lunch

 

A Day In The Life

 

  • Working from the daily Inbound Schedule Report, identifying the correct Vendor ASN if available or creating the correct BCFASN for each inbound shipment. Cartonize BCFASN if able to. Work closely with ASN Production.  Work with partner PRII associate(s) coordinating work to ensure all is completed daily.
  • Identifying POs that require changes – initiating the change with POE and/or executing the change, creating and/or verifying the ASN supports the change.
  • Identify all the variables that exist with the many types of inbound shipments and handle them appropriately. Identify any extra action needed by DC. Work closely with Allocations to ensure product is processed as required.
  • Identify any anomalies within the appointment and resolve; usually by reaching out to other departments to investigate, verify and correct.  Utilize Allocations team, POE team and MPAs to ensure correct processing.
  • Commenting within the appointments any pertinent information needed by the DC.
  • Questioning and bringing to the attention of other associates or management any discrepancies that could adversely affect the receiving process.
  • Checking for valid allocations for each inbound shipment. Finalizing the shipment (making “Good to Go”) in order to record that the shipment is ready to be received. ( as needed, depending on staff, a Level I responsibility)

 

 

You'll Come With 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Prior knowledge and experience working in a distribution center 
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office products
  • Must be able to work independently and as a team
