Position Summary: The Vendor Onboarding Coordinator will be responsible for onboarding of new vendors to the company. Also, will be responsible for balancing workload within the department and ensuring setup is complete with in a timely and accurate manner.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with merchandising and vendors to complete vendor agreements and corresponding documentation/paperwork. Follow up and escalate non-responsive/problem vendors to ensure a streamlined setup process. Review and validate that agreements are complete and correct. Act as first point of contact to create a strong vendor onboarding experience. Build and develop relationships with vendor community and internal business partners
  • Generate and distribute daily/weekly reporting to Senior Leadership. Maintain and update reporting needed for tracking and auditing purposes. Analyze and call out areas of concern.
  • Control and maintain all vendor defaulted terms in the Oracle, Bamboo Rose, Traverse and VMS systems.
  • Conduct meetings with vendors and buyers to resolve challenges and questions related to the setup process.
  • Collect and distribute vendor, merchant, and internal partners login info.
  • Maintain and update all vendor setup SOP’s. Create and conduct trainings for merchant community on setup process.
  • Collect DUNS number to validate vendor DEI information.

Scope and Impact:

This position will support the merchants and vendors with the onboarding process and maintaining purchase order terms for Burlington’s merchant vendor community.

 

Education and Qualifications: 

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent job experience with a retail organization.
  • Strong work ethic with a commitment to achieve targeted objectives.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks at once.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of personnel.
  • Ability to work well in an ever-changing environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Analytical problem solving.
  • Bilingual (Spanish, Korean or Chinese) a plus.
